From a young age, I was fascinated with babies and spent much of my time caring for my baby dolls and dreaming of motherhood. As I grew up, I became the neighborhood babysitter, and later, a camp counselor, and coach at the local children's gym. Post-college, I worked as a live-in nanny of three young children. In this role, I found my love for working intimately with growing families and the importance of community support in the child bearing years. I experienced alongside them the ebb and flow of parenthood, the unpredictability of pregnancy and birth, and the joy of welcoming their fourth child.
In 2020, I graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a BA in Psychology and Bioethics. The Bioethics program was my first formal exposure to reproductive ethics and the role of a doula. Once I learned about birthwork, it felt like all of my interests and education started to align. In 2023, I completed my Full-Spectrum Doula Certification through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings (BADT). I went on to take MotherTree's internationally recognized doula training in 2025. I've also pursued continued education courses on the intersection of birth and disability, queering birthwork, and abortion support.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, camping in the rain, playing cards, dancing, and learning guitar. I am a quieter person who values active listening, and I believe my role is primarily to amplify your voice. I am described by my friends and family as intuitive, thorough, grounded, and calm in a crisis. My work is influenced by my experience as a queer woman with complex trauma and chronic illness, and I am particularly interested in working with folks who hold these identifies as well. My hope is that everyone in my care feels prepared, safe, heard, and empowered along their reproductive journey.
